1,677 Domains Referencing Superintelligence, 739 Registered in a Single Day
On 22 September 2026, President Trump told the UN General Assembly that the United States would call AI “super intelligence.” Domain registrations containing the term had drawn between 1 and 33 new names a day earlier in the month. On 22 September alone, 739 were registered, with 752 more following from 23 to 27 September.
Using current domain registrations containing superintelligence and variants such as superintelligent, super-intelligence, superinteligencia, superintelligenz, and misspellings like superintellegence, we built a 1,677-domain dataset and analyzed it across creation dates, registrars, registrant emails, name servers, hosting networks, and naming intent.
Key Findings:
Domains registered on 22 September
Domains registered from 23 to 27 September
Domains bought across 2+ extensions
Resolving domains across 52 hosting networks
The terms studied:
Domains pairing "superintelligence" with another word
Domains using "superintelligent"
Domains registering the bare term
Misspelled and other-language variants
These are key highlights from our analysis. The full report contains more findings and detailed insights.

These figures should be read as a conservative floor. Expanding the term set to additional regional spellings, related relief vocabulary, typo variants, and historical WHOIS data would likely reveal more event-driven registrations.
